Basic information about our school

Welcome to our school. It is an elementary school with a long tradition. In 2020 we celebrated its 85th anniversary.

In recent years the school building has gone through a demanding reconstruction. First of all, the windows were replaced. After that the attic space was rebuilt into modern special classrooms. Thanks to these building modifications, our school also got a new exterior in the form of an insulated facade.

Concerning the limits of our school, pedagogical and human possibilities our goal is to provide general education, human and social skills and good start into our pupils´ professional life.

We meet the requirements of parents and cooperate with organizations in the municipality. Our children receive thorough basics of modern general education and are brought up to respect the traditional values of our society. Maximum of public openness, the clarity of information, friendly environment, modern equipment of classrooms and other areas, effective educational and teaching process are the basic pillars of the school's activities.

The whole school area is located in the center of the village in the middle of nature, off the main road. Since we are a local school, the location of the bus terminal next to the school is a great advantage in terms of children's safety.

The school area consists of two buildings connected by the corridor. In the barrier-free main building there are changing rooms, a canteen, a gym, workshops, classrooms and special classrooms. The other building is called "the old school". There are placed the after-school clubs and the training kitchen.

Part of the school is a newly built outdoor sports area – a playground with artificial surface and an athletic oval, an asphalt and grass playground, a school yard and also a playground equipped with certified game elements (swings, slides, climbing frames, sandpit). Children also have available garden furniture (benches and tables) to use.
